Updating howto's along the road.

At work I'm installing a completely new server with vmware Esci. This time I installed Esxi on an USB-stick. On that I have 3 servers running: A firewall (smoothwall), a webserver (Debian Squeeze) and a PDC (Debian Squeeze 64-bit).

Now for the software part, I only had to use my own Howto's, Or so I thought. It seems like a lot has changed since Debian Lenny. Installing the software, hasn't changed, but configuring it has, especially LDAP. Because I use this for almost everything (dhcp, samba, auth, mailauth, ...) I don't have much of a choice: learn the new way.

That is the very reason why I'm  updating my howto's at the sime time I'm configuring the software on the new server. I know those are in Dutch, but Google Translate does help.
